VORON0 GCODE for TESTING THE RESONANCES of your stepper motors
by varying print speeds from 50mm/s to 225mm/s (25mm/s increments).
This download is FREE: Just add 0€ or $0.
I don't collect email addresses: You can add a fantasy one.
Donations are always welcome, but absolutely not mandatory!
Requirements:
- Voron 0.0 or Voron0.1 (Klipper)
- print bed is properly leveled / extrusion flow is properly calibrated
- capability of moving at 225mm/s - at least 1000mm/s² acceleration needed in order to reach the speeds
- tested at "square_corner_velocity: 6.0" - you might vary here
- footprint of the print: 102mm (X and Y) - make sure you're not going out of bounds
- PRINT_START and PRINT_END are properly defined in printer.cfg
Sliced in Simplify3D:
- Two gcodes: Diagonal print-move tests your A-motor or B-motor
- Print time around 15-20min. (depending on acceleration/scv)
- PLA print at 215°C / 60°C (nozzle/bed)
- Extrusion width: 0.45mm / layer height: 0.15mm
- Extrusion flow is set to 100% in slicer (maybe vary this in firmware - check the resulting wall thickness)
- Resulting volumetric flow rate at 225mm/s is 15.2mm³/s (Cooling and/or DragonFly might be limiting at higher speeds)
- Travel moves are also at 225mm/s
Please share your results (stating your motors / printer) on the 247printing Discord or on my Twitter thread:
